While the bur cucumber vines are still blossoming,
some of them are setting fruit already.
When ripe, they are only a couple of inches long,
but in a photo with nothing to give a scale to it, my daughter asked if it was an attack watermelon.

It is a strange looking thing. I've never heard of it, but I might try to find one next year.
