Wild Grapes

Earlier in the fall, I took these photos of the wild grapes using an apple tree as an arbor.
 Or a fence.
And I spent an afternoon helping a friend pull the grapes off the vines
 preparing to make grape jelly.

I wondered what to do with mine! They cover many of our trees and crawl up into the canopy. Some vines are as thick as my wrist. They kill the cedar from lack of sunlight. Quite the things!

May be next year my vine grape will have fruits... hanging over the fence!
