Shadows

Ottawa has so many buildings made with this stone!
I love the way it affects the shadows!
I am linking this post with Nature Footstep Catch the Light.

What amazing stone!!! We have a lot of stone buildings here in NW WA too - it is a more tan color - but the shades change with the light of day or night.

must have been wonderful to see the light and shadows plaing over the beautiful stonework.

I love stone walls. The shadows on them say there's warmth and shade there. The pics makes me want to lean against that wall and read a book.

Lovely pictures.

Nicely presented...the textures and shadows isn't a standard type of find♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/cityscape/

It's a huge part of Perth, with stone masons brought in from Scotland. In Osgoode, I think, there was a factory where they made special stone.
